my good excuse for not blogging recently

I was out hunting all May. After 14 sightings and two misses (one so narrowly I could hardly stand it), this is what I finally bagged:



I was convinced this one was going to elude me, too, but I stuck to my guns and with a lot of luck - no, 'luck' isn't the right word; I think it's better to say that Providence saw fit to grant me this little looker.

It was too hard to lash it to my hood, though, so we figure we'll just go to where it is. ;)
